Adolescent Mental Health Initiative

The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands created its Adolescent Mental Health Initiative to synthesize and disseminate scientific research on the prevention and treatment of mental disorders in adolescents. The Initiative creates books for scholars and the public on topics including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia and suicide prevention.

Treating and preventing adolescent mental health disorders

This book, which disseminates the findings of the Adolescent Mental Health Initiative sponsored by the Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands and the Annenberg Public Policy Center (APPC), addresses the state of knowledge about mental health disorders in the teenage years. Six commissions established by the Sunnylands Trust and APPC pool their expertise on adolescent anxiety, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, depression and bipolar disorders, eating disorders, and suicide.
