Climate Communication

Laetitia Mwilambwe-Tshilobo (she/her) is the Diane and Howard Deshong Postdoctoral Fellow in the Climate Communication Division of the Annenberg Public Policy Center. Her research examines how loneliness shapes brain function and influences how people connect with others. She uses interdisciplinary methods including behavioral analysis, neuroimaging, network science, and naturalistic approaches to study the neural mechanisms underlying social connection. She is particularly interested in how social experiences are represented in the brain and how these patterns relate to how we communicate and engage with each other. At Penn, she is applying her research to the study of climate communication and resilience. She completed a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at McGill University, a M.A. in Developmental Psychology at Cornell University, a M.Sc. in Neuroscience at the University of Hartford, and a B.A. in Neuroscience at the College of Wooster.
