Elizabeth Walshe received her B.A. in Psychology and Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Maynooth University, Ireland. Her Ph.D. research examined the role of top-down cognitive processes on motor control in older adults and stroke survivors, with the use of electroencephalography. She is particularly interested in using neuroscientific techniques to understand attention and executive control. She is currently the Martin Fishbein Postdoctoral Fellow at the Annenberg Public Policy Center, using neuroscientific techniques to investigate the neuropsychological variables underlying adolescent driving behavior and crash incidence.
