Cristina Bicchieri is the S.J.P. Harvie Professor of Social Thought and Comparative Ethics at the University of Pennsylvania, and director of the Philosophy, Politics and Economics program. She also is director of the Master of Behavioral and Decision Sciences program in the School of Arts & Sciences and professor of legal studies at the Wharton School. Dr. Bicchieri founded the BeLab and PennSoNG, a consulting group on social norms and policy interventions. She has worked with UNICEF, the World Bank, the Gates Foundation, BBC Media, CARE, DFID and many other NGOs to measure the social impact of policy interventions and design new ones in developing countries. Her main work is on social norms, norm measurement, and change.
