Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Ph.D.
Kathleen Hall Jamieson is the Elizabeth Ware Packard
Professor of Communication at the Annenberg School for Communication and
Walter and Leonore Annenberg Director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center
at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Jamieson is a Fellow of the American
Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member of the American Philosophical
Society. She is the author, co author or editor of twelve books including:
The Press Effect: Politicians, Journalists, and the Stories That Shape
the Political World (Oxford University Press, 2003) and Everything
You Think You Know About Politics...and Why You're Wrong (Basic Books,
2000), and Packaging the Presidency (Oxford University Press, 1996).
Jamieson directs the National Annenberg Election Survey.
Ken Winneg
Ken Winneg is the Managing Director of the National
Annenberg Election Survey, responsible for all facets of the Survey's
design and execution. Before joining the Annenberg Public Policy Center,
Winneg was a vice president at Penn, Schoen and Berland in New York, where
he directed a variety of corporate and political strategic research projects.
Before working at Penn, Schoen and Berland, Winneg was senior research
manager at Chilton Research Services, where he was responsible for managing
the ABC News-Washington Post surveys.
Adam Clymer
Adam Clymer serves as Political Director for NAES.
One of America's most respected journalists, Clymer covered politics for
four decades, most recently as Washington Correspondent for the New York
Times. His highly acclaimed Edward M. Kennedy: A Biography was
released in 1999.
Kate Kenski
Kate Kenski is a senior analyst at the Annenberg
Public Policy Center and was a member of the NAES 2000 team. She has published
widely on such topics as political communication, public opinion, gender
& politics, and research methods. Kenski participates in the design,
implementation, and analysis of the NAES.
Christopher Adasiewicz
Christopher Adasiewicz managed the sampling, fieldwork
and data processing of the 2000 NAES as Project Director at Princeton
Survey Research Associates in Washington, DC. Mr. Adasiewicz also was
the lead author of the 2000 NAES codebook. For the 2004 NAES, he is a
consultant to the Annenberg Public Policy Center. Mr. Adasiewicz holds
a master's degree from the Annenberg School and is currently Communications
Manager at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative in New York.
Dannagal Goldthwaite Young
Dannagal Goldthwaite Young is a doctoral candidate
at the Annenberg School for Communication. She has presented at numerous
national and international political science, public opinion, and communication
conferences in the areas of political satire, the psychology of humor,
social trust, and civic participation. Goldthwaite will be analyzing NAES
data on media use and public opinion.
Russ Tisinger
Russ Tisinger is a doctoral candidate at the Annenberg
School for Communication, where he is studying the influence of popular
entertainment on political public opinion. Before coming to Annenberg,
Russ worked for six years as a journalist in Washington DC at Congressional
Quarterly magazine, the Center for Public Integrity, and the online magazine
Speakout.com. Tisinger will be analyzing NAES data on media use and public
opinion.
Natalie Jomini
Natalie Jomini is a doctoral candidate at the Annenberg
School for Communication. Her main interests are in public opinion and
political communication. She received her B.A. degree in both Mass Communication
and Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley. Jomini will
be analyzing NAES data on media use and public opinion.
